Working the stages and studios in Portland and the greater pacific Northwest over the past two decades, singer/songwriter Steve Wilkinson has cemented his position as one of the region’s most honest and consistent voices in rock.

Wilkinson’s career began in 1990 with Crash Landing, an American punk band formed by Portland underground music legend Dale Moerer (Oily Bloodmen, ROTOR) and John Naylor (The Obituaries). In 1992, he left the band and formed Gravelpit, who signed with Salem’s Schizophonic Records (I-5 Killers compilation with Everclear, The Wipers, Supersuckers, 30.06) which released two singles and 2 full-length albums worldwide. Gravelpit later signed with the Dallas, TX Rockadelic Records, and released their third and final record. Wilkinson then formed Portland’s Mission 5, who released two full-length albums which were distributed worldwide by Portland’s Burnside Distribution.
